Seemed like a natural progression to move from little bees on their own to hats with their theme! I love this textured pattern, known as bubble stitch. I learned it from a site called Studio Knit
Once I had the honeycomb like hat knit and was adding a pompom… I thought… what if there was a tiny little bee nestled in there? So I knit one using the same brand/colour scheme of wool, just a lighter weight so the colours would match and tied him into the pom pom. Aint he darling? Makes them rather unique looking as well.
This one has already been claimed by a dear friend, but I shall be making more! Keep an eye on my social media and Etsy page for when they go on sale!
